Renowned global tech strategist, entrepreneur and Google Partner Advisory Board member Dr Jamie Farnell-Smith has become a minority shareholder in the company and will join later this month as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).

Dr Smith brings more than 25 years of leadership across technology, cloud infrastructure and education. As former Executive Chair and CEO of C-Learning, he grew the business into one of the UK’s leading Google for Education partners.
His arrival marks a significant step up in Rocketeer Orbit’s mission to help mid-market and enterprise businesses put AI to genuinely productive use. In his agile, part-time role as CSO, Dr Smith will lead Rocketeer Orbit’s ecosystem partnerships, drive commercial expansion, and support strategic governance as the platform continues to develop.
