Software Engineer (Backend and AI Systems)
Lead the design and delivery of the AI systems we run in production for real clients. You'll own complex backend work end to end and set the technical bar for the team.
What we're looking for:
- Able to be at the Stafford HQ 1–2 days per week (hybrid) and available full-time.
- Has shipped and owned complex backend systems in production.
- Fluent in at least one modern backend stack, plus core fundamentals (databases, APIs, queues, testing, deployment).
- Has built AI systems that run in production for real clients — not just demos or prototypes.
- Comfortable leading delivery and raising the technical standard across the team.
Current position
Low Code Automation Developer
Design and build the low-code workflows that bring our client projects to life, then keep them running reliably once they're live.
What we're looking for:
- A logic-oriented thinker who can map a process as a flowchart before building it.
- Hands-on experience with low-code automation tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Salesforce Flow or Power Automate.
- Able to build phase-one AI logic for custom client projects and ship client-facing workflows.
- Monitors live automations, tracks API/token usage and optimises flows for cost and reliability.
- A calm troubleshooter who can diagnose and fix automation issues under pressure.
